Chris Brown News, Rumors: R&B Singer Allegedly Involved in Beating at Basketball Game in Las Vegas

Famous R&B singer Chris Brown may be in trouble with the authorities once again, as he was allegedly involved in a beating in Las Vegas. The singer was in Vegas at his hotel where he and some friends went for a quick basketball game inside the hotel and reports claim that that's where the incident happen and Brown just released a statement denying that he was involved.

Although it has been confirmed that Brown indeed had a suite at the Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas and they did play basketball, authorities however haven't officially declared that Brown had something to do with a fight.

"At approximately 3:42 a.m. LVMPD patrol officers responded to Sunrise Hospital to investigate a report of a subject who had been beaten. Arriving officers made contact with an adult male being treated for non-life threatening injuries sustained as a result of a battery," the Las Vegas police said in a statement.

The representatives of Brown released a statement saying that the alleged beating to an unnamed individual reportedly present during the basketball game was not beaten by the singer as there was an uninvited individual who sparked the altercation.

It has been reported that the beating started in a verbal argument which turned into a physical altercation when things heated up between the people allegedly involved.

"Chris is currently in Las Vegas as he is performing at Drais on May 5 and receiving a Key to the Strip that day as well," the statement from Brown's reps said. "He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person," the statement added.

Right now, it has been reported that Brown was given the option to sign off on a misdemeanor battery citation in order to avoid facing prosecution by the Clark County District Attorney's office. Brown's response has yet to be determined.
