Chris Brown News: 'Loyal' Singer Back in Court After Probation is Revoked
New reports are claiming that a judge has decided to schedule a formal hearing to determine whether Chris Brown had any part in the two club shootings in San Jose and L.A.
The "Loyal" singer was put on probation after the 2009 Rihanna assault case in which he was accused of committing domestic assault on famous singer and girlfriend, Rihanna. Since then, he's been trying to steer clear of trouble - until two club shootings while he was in the room became too suspicious to ignore.
At the famous singer's pre-VMA party on August 24th, a scary club shooting stopped Chris Brown from finishing his performance. Then, in a San Jose nightclub on January 11th, Brown was once again performing on stage when the shooting took place. That night, five people were shot and wounded.
In both cases, the superstar may have been a little too preoccupied to be involved with the shooters, but the judge is not ready to discount the possibility. He was ordered back to court on March 20th.
Unfortunately for Brown, the singer was never supposed to be in San Jose. If he left the county without explicit permission, he would be violating his probation, even if it was for a performance. Now Chris could be facing a long prison sentence if he is found at fault in the shootings.
Meanwhile, Karrueche, Chris's long-time girlfriend, has convinced Chris Brown to cancel some of his shows for his own safety. Maybe he can spend his time completing the 200 remaining hours of his 1,000 hours of community service while he waits for a verdict.
