Chris Brown Concert Shooting News: Five Injured After Shots Fired During Event

New reports are claiming that a Chris Brown concert in San Jose last Saturday ended with a shooting that left five people injured.

Singing at the Fiesta nightclub, Brown was interrupted when someone began firing shots at the venue. Reporters say the time of the shooting occurred at about 1:20 am as Brown was performing. The singer noticed an argument of some sort in the back of the club and made a comment about the quarrel.

In a video taken at the concert, the audio records Brown jokingly commenting on the fight as some people were "getting it in over there." The incident escalated and gunshots prompted Brown's crew to whisk him from the stage as chaos broke out.

Another video of the event shows concertgoers gathering to one side of the club as the fight, which is not seen on camera, gets more violent. Someone in the video can be heard shouting that somebody is shooting with a gun as others rush toward the exit doors. There is a pause and then another round of gunshots can be heard.

While Brown remained unhurt from the event, five people were injured, with four being taken to a nearby hospital. A fifth person arrived to the emergency room a bit later with a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening. All five are expected to recover. It is not yet known whether police at the venue arrested any suspects, but they did detain several people at the concert.

Instagram is blowing up with photos taken from the concert and the shooting incident. Brown, who is already shrouded in bad publicity for his violent tendencies, shaky relationships, and anger issues, must now deal with the buzz surrounding his San Jose concert.
