'Chicago Med' Season 2 Episode 8 Spoilers and Preview: Dr. Halstead And Dr. Manning Trapped In An Ethical Dilemma?

"Chicago Med" season 2 is already nearing its midseason finale, and the synopsis for the upcoming episode suggests that decisions will again be at the forefront as Dr. Halstead and Dr. Manning get trapped in an ethical dilemma.

It can be recalled that episode 7 went all emotional when Sharon Goodwin lost Dr. Downey over death. In episode 8, titled "Free Will," the conflicts will be different but decisions will still take the center stage. Spoilers for the episode suggest a romance may develop between Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Charles' daughter in epidemiology. The episode will also see Halstead and Manning being put in a seemingly impossible situation, where they have to settle on letting their patient die or letting him survive but with HIV.

"Dr. Halstead and Dr. Manning deal with two warring brothers who are brought together when one finds himself in desperate need of a kidney. Dr. Reese's former patient Danny comes to a crossroad. Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Latham treat a 16-year-old girl with a genetic condition in need of surgery, but whose overprotective mother disagrees with that course of action. A convict with unusual intentions puts himself in the hospital and Dr. Charles meddles in his daughter Robyn's personal life, much to her dismay. Meanwhile, Dr. Halstead and April make a discovery that complicates her treatment for TB," reads the synopsis on Cartermatt.

According to reports, Sophia Bush will guest-star once again in the midseason finale.
