The Chicago Bulls will face the Washington Wizards on January 9 at the Verizon Center in Washington, District of Columbia.

The game will begin at 8:00 pm ET and can be viewed online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The Bulls (25-11) are looking to prevent a possible two game losing streak when they clash with the Wizards on Friday night.

"You have to understand, he's been out for 2 1/2 years. When you get away from that competition for 2 1/2 years, it doesn't come back in a week," said Chicago head coach Thibodeau to reporters in regard to his All-Star player's (Derrick Rose) recent scoring slump.

"You have to compete in practice, you have to compete getting yourself ready and you have to keep going. There are gonna be some bumps in the road. As long as he keeps stringing games together, he'll figure it out. I have a lot of confidence in that."

The Bulls were recently crushed by the Utah Jazz by a score of 97-77 after Chicago shooting guard Jimmy Butler totaled 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 steals in a losing effort on January 7.

"We just wasn't making any shots; I know I wasn't making any shot," said Chicago point guard Derrick Rose to reporters.

"Losing the way we did tonight, it hurts."

Meanwhile, the Wizards (24-11) are attempting to lengthen their winning streak to three games when they defend their home court versus the Bulls at the Verizon Center.

Previously, the Wizards defeated the New York Knicks by a final score of 101-91 on Wednesday night; a game where Washington point guard John Wall had 18 points, 8 assists, and 3 steals which ignited his squad to the victory.

"It's a situation if you sleepwalk through it, you can look bad, and we sleptwalk after we got up 20," said Wizards head coach Randy Wittman to reporters.

"We just can't take things for granted."
