The Chicago Blackhawks will clash with the Anaheim Ducks on January 30 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

The Blackhawks (30-16-2) are attempting to avoid a potential two game losing streak when they go head-to-head with the Ducks on Friday night.

Previously, the Blackhawks were defeated by the Los Angeles Kings by a final score of 4-3, where Chicago right winger Patrick Kane had a goal and an assist in a losing effort on January 28.

"It's disappointing. We played 55 solid minutes of hockey. We just made some mistakes that ended up in our own net...We knew it was going to be a tough game, and we hung in there. It was looking pretty good for us with that 3-2 lead late in the third, but we found a way to blow it," said Chicago center Jonathan Toews to reporters.

"I think (the officials) were kind of maybe playing catch-up after we got a few power plays. I think we may have sat back a little bit and waited for (the Kings) to come at us. And usually when we do that, bad things happen, as you could see."

Meanwhile, the Ducks (32-11-6) are attempting to snap a possible two game losing streak when they defend their home ice versus the Blackhawks at the Honda Center.

Recently, the Ducks were crushed by their Pacific division foe the Vancouver Canucks by a final score of 4-0, where Anaheim center Rickard Rakell totaled a goal and an assist in the loss.

"We just want to go with the same pace we have been and keep showing we are among the very best teams in this league," said Ducks goalie Frederik Andersen to reporters after he notched only 17 saves in the game.

"It's the second half now, and we just want to continue that on and keep playing the way we have been and keep shutting teams out and keep playing that good defensive game."
