The official Stellar Gospel Music Award nominees were announced on Friday October 26th online by Central City Productions.  Among Gospel music's finest artists is the industry's fastest rising newcomer Cheneta Jones.  Cheneta Jones has captured her first Stellar Gospel Music Award Nomination for New Artist Of The Year. 

Cheneta Jones' debut project TRANSFORMED released in May on Real Talent Media Group / Habakkuk Music / INgrooves Fontana Distribution and landed at #13 on the Billboard Gospel Chart, #16 Heatseekers Chart and #31 Top Christian Gospel Chart. 

The St. Louis singer and songwriter has cranked out three Gospel Radio Hits from her acclaimed project.  "We Worship You" and "Be Like You" have landed in the Top 40, while her latest single "Get There" has just hit the Mediabase Gospel Chart at #23 and the BDS Gospel Chart at #30.  She currently is the only new artist with three gospel songs in the top 200 on both radio charts.
