'Celebrity Apprentice' Cast News, Rumors: Pays Tribute to Late Joan Rivers
As 'Celebrity Apprentice' enters its 14th season, fans wonder how chairman Donald Trump will manage to keep his audience interested in the decade old show. Many reality television shows cannot make it to their 10th season, let alone their 14th, so what is Donald Trump's secret?
According to a Yahoo! interview, the best idea for a combative show is to find naturally argumentative people who do not like each other. "This is a very exciting season," Trump said, "The cast is just absolutely brutal. They really dislike each other, and of course that's good for television."
Trump has released two exclusive videos promoting the 14th season of 'The Apprentice', also known as the seventh edition of 'Celebrity Apprentice'. To keep up the excitement of earlier seasons, Trump casted celebrities whom he knows will dislike each other.
So far, the wealthy chairman has asked Kenya Moore, the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star, to be one of the apprentices. In the past, Kenya had hijacked Vivica A. Fox's Twitter account in a the 'Real Housewives' episode. So with Vivica A. Fox on the show, there may be some serious tension seen between the two.
About the reality TV star, Trump commented, "Kenya is a beautiful woman, but she really is nasty."
The show will not be all about fighting, however. 'Celebrity Apprentice' winner Joan Rivers was filmed in two episodes of the show, before her death last September.
Trump reported that he was thinking about whether he should cut those scenes, and then decided that she was too important to take away from the show. "She was so spectacular and so good and so strong and so smart that not only didn't we cut," Trump said. "We're really highlighting and it's going to be in memoriam."
