Rick and Kate need to go antique hunting in episode 17 of "Castle" season 8.

In the upcoming episode titled "Death Wish," Rick and Kate will have to find the key in unravelling a crime that will be forwarded to the 12^th Precinct of the New York PD, which involves the murder of a man who is greatly engaged in smuggling Turkish artifacts.

The catch, however, is that Rick and Kate may just be going after a delusion, as the stolen "antique" artifact is said to be the magical lamp of Aladdin.

Promo for the episode shows that it is Rick who is more enthusiastic about unlocking the key in this case than Kate, as nothing enthralls him more than solving mind-blowing mysteries. The teaser reveals that he is more than excited to give a free rein to a genie from captivity and ride a flying carpet.

As Rick's favorite animated musical fantasy film comes to life in solving this case, the angry men pulling their triggers and trying to chase him keep his fancy from going berserk.

While Kate cannot help but feel dismayed by her husband's childish fantasies, she knows they need to get the case done. The case involves a man murdered over the lamp, and that is enough for her to assume that the artifact is valuable enough to murder a man for. It will not hurt her though to know that a genie is indeed inside the mysterious lamp.

By the end of the promo, Rick is seen running while being chased by a group of mad men.
