The second half of 'Castle' Season 7 will return on January 12, 2015 with an episode entitled "Castle, P.I." The mid-season premiere kicks off by banning recently-wed Rick and Kate from working with each other, which leaves many wondering how the new couple is supposed to solve crimes now?

'Castle' began as a thrilling drama about famous mystery novelist Rick Castle. Throughout the seasons, we grew to love Rick's somewhat arrogant, entertaining attitude as he shadowed Detective Kate Beckett during her NYPD duties. Earlier this November, 'Castle' fans rejoiced as the crime-fighting couple finally sealed their romance with an "I do."

In the upcoming episode "Castle P.I." Rick is kicked off of the force due to his connections to the mob. Castle isn't ready to give up just yet, and so he decides to show up at Beckett's crime scene anyway with a P.I. License. Unfortunately, Rick is still forbidden from working with his wife, and so NYPD Kate and Private Eye Rick may have a rivalry this year.

Castle will be faced with several complications while he is working alone, including shared information. Without the police department to back him up, Castle will need to sneak out the autopsy file for the victim in this next case. Unfortunately for him, not everyone is as patient as his wife is with his mischievousness.

On top of everything, Castle is going to need some major organizational capabilities to handle his "private eye" work on top of his mystery novels. How will Castle, P.I. handle the changes? Be prepared for an exciting episode of competition, hilarity, and amusement when the series returns next Monday on ABC.
