'Captain America: Civil War' Spoilers: Will Black Panther’s Father T’Chaka Die in the Upcoming Movie?

Even as the production of the upcoming Marvel superhero film 'Captain America: Civil War' is underway, several reports related to the film's plot are circulating online.

Quoting a report in Heroic Hollywood, IB Times states that Black Panther/ T'Challa's father T'Chaka will be killed in 'Captain America: Civil War.' The report reads, "Expect T'Chaka to be toe-tagged next year in the film." However, the report does not say anything regarding why T'Chaka will be killed or who will kill him.

Those familiar with the Marvel comics know that T'Chaka is killed by an assassin name Ulysses Klaw, who is hired to kill Black Panther's father at the Bilderberg conference provided the T'Chaka refuses to share the resources of Wakanda, including vibranium.

As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the supposed death of T'Chaka in 'Captain America: Civil War.' In an earlier interview with Birth Movies Death, Marvel president Kevin Feige said in that T'Challa will suit up as Black Panther when T'Chaka grows old.

According to Feige, "It is a role that he is still in the beginning phases of taking on; it's a mantle he is only beginning to take on because his father is older."

Marvel chief further said that Black Panther will be shown as a third party in 'Captain America: Civil War.' He said, "We needed fresh eyes, who weren't embedded with the 'Avengers,' and who has a very different point of view than either Tony or Steve."

Actor Chadwick Boseman is portraying the character of Black Panther in 'Captain America: Civil War.' There are reports that Boseman is reading comic books to be familiar with his character. According to MTV, he is also taking inspiration from science and history.

'Captain America; Civil War,' which opens on May 6, 2016, also stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Rudd.
