'Captain America: Civil War' Spoilers, News: Film Synopsis Revealed, Leaked Casting Call

A leaked casting call for the upcoming movie 'Captain America: Civil War' has revealed the first day of production to be April 1st.

"Casting notices for extras (with many ethnicities being sought) have gone out in Atlanta with a shooting date of April 1st pinned down, though filming could commence even earlier than that (whether or not these notices are for first or second unit is unconfirmed)," writes Collider.

Along with this has also come the first official synopsis for the film:

"Following the events of Age of Ultron, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies."

Nothing that hasn't already been revealed, although it has raised some alarm to Marvel's promise to including Spider-Man in the film. With his exclusion in the synopsis it's more likely that he'll have a very short cameo if any. The fact that the character hasn't yet been cast is a huge red flag and the movie was to originally proceed without Spider-Man's attendance anyway.

The movie is confirmed to feature Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie and Jeremy Renner all reprising their roles.

'Captain America: Civil War' hits theaters on May 6th, 2016.
