'Captain America: Civil War' Spoilers News: Film Sets Up 'Avengers: Infinity War' Movie
For those that enjoyed 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,' according to Chris Evans, haven't even seen the beginning of a great story plot.
In a recent interview with MTV, Evans speaks on his upcoming solo film, 'Captain America: Civil War,' and states that it will set up the events to come in 'Avengers: Infinity War.'
'Civil War' plans to introduce a whole host of new characters, along with a bunch of new dynamics.
"Captain America: Civil War is the jumpoff into Avengers: The Infinity War [sic]. Civil War is going to be the setup for the real battle. So yeah, there are a lot of people - a lot of people in Cap 3," states Evans.
The Avengers fans know and love will be divided in an internal dispute that will shape the rest of the MCU for films to come.
The anticipated big contenders in the movie include, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, and the studio's new Spider-Man.
The synopsis released on the film follows:
"'Captain America: Civil War' picks up where 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain."
'Captain America: Civil War' drops into theaters on May 6th, 2016.
