'Captain America: Civil War' Rumors, Spoilers & News: Major Character Death Revealed

A huge spoiler has just been dropped by Heroic Hollywood on the state of one of the characters set to appear in 'Captain America: Civil War.'

According to the news outlet, Black Panther's father, T'Chaka will be killed off in the feature length film. How and when haven't been disclosed, however Umberto Gonzalez promises his death to be one of the bigger ones within the series.

"For those who don't know, in the comics, T'Chaka was the Chieftan of Wakanda, pledged to protect the sacred metal known as Vibranium. From an early age, he excelled in the ways of magic and took a stance to preserve Wakanda's heritage by honoring the "old ways" of magic use despite the technological advancements of Wakanda," writes Heroic Hollywood.

Further speculation would lead those to believe that this may be related to the fact that Black Panther himself is seen to be pursuing the Winter Soldier, as previously reported. Could it be for on a revenge agenda?

Either way, the death of T'Chaka may have already been expected by comic book fans, as the character is killed off by Ulysses Klaw in the comics. Being the Chieftan of Wakanda will inevitably make the character a huge target as he's the sole keeper of the most valuable material in the world.

"Since Wakanda was independent with no ties to any other nation he was eventually called to a UN meeting in hopes of other countries trading with them. He refused however and was assassinated by Ulysses Klaw while he tried to protect his wife and children. His death made his S'yan the Black Panther. S'yan was later succeeded by T'Challa," writes Heroic Hollywood.

While it seems like this plot line may be likely for the film, there is nothing yet confirmed, along with the casting of the T'Chaka character.

'Captain America: Civil War' premieres in theaters on May 6, 2016.
