'Captain America: Civil War' Release Date, Spoilers: Is 'War Machine' Going To Die? [TRAILER]

In line with Joe and Anthony Russo's much anticipated Marvel Comics film "Captain America: Civil War," film actor Don Cheadle has talked about his character's fate in the movie.

Cheadle is set to play War Machine's role in the Russo's "Captain America: Civil War." In his interview with Daily News, the actor revealed that he had seen some fans' comments on Twitter, saying that his character should not die in the film. Some of them include "Rhodey better not be dead, son. I'm going to be mad" and "I'm done with this thing if Rhodey's dead."

According to Cheadle, such remarks were "cool," as he liked that people got so upset about it, adding that in a Marvel film, people were able to evoke such emotions.

"It does look bad for Rhodey," Cheadle also said in the same interview. According to Cinema Blend, this has further ignited fans' speculations on whether War Machine would die in "Captain America: Civil War" or not. Should the death actualize in the film, his death is not the first death of an Avenger in Marvel Studio's film history, since the Earth's Mightiest Heroes also lost Quicksilver in Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

Rhodey's possible death is assumed in "Captain America: Civil War" and this could potentially lead his best friend Iron Man do things that he would regret in the long run, as per the publication. The publication added that losing War Machine can see an enraged Tony Stark, who may leave a tragic scene in the film through killing a character.

The Russo's "Captain America: Civil War" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 6, 2016.
