'Captain America: Civil War' Cast News, Synopsis: Daniel Bruhl to Play Villain Baron Zemo

Recently, a Disney casting call page revealed that a new major Marvel villain, Baron Zemo, will be played by Daniel Bruhl. But the page had another spoiler for fans of the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War" film.

According to an alleged synopsis for the film: "In "Captain America: Civil War,' billionaire Tony Stark is pitted against Captain America aka Steve Rogers in an ethical face-off over the U.S. government's Superhuman Registration Act, which requires all super powered individuals register their powers and report to S.H.I.E.L.D."

Recently, Robert Downey Jr., spoke in the latest issue of Empire about his role in third Captain America movie.

"They said to me, "If we have you, we can do this, or Cap 3 has to be something else.' It's nice to feel needed, and at this point, it's about helping each other too. I look at it as a competition and I go, "Wow, maybe if these two franchises teamed up and I can take even a lesser position with people I like and directors I respect, maybe we can keep things bumping along," Downey said.

The directors Downey referred to are brothers Anthony and John Russo, who directed the box office record-setting "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

The brothers' work on the second Captain America movie resulted in talks about a third movie even before "Winter Soldier" hit theaters, Screen Rant reports.

Downey also hinted that the plot concerning the Superhuman Registration Act has a lot to do with another upcoming Marvel movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

"The main thing to me is, what sort of incident could occur, and what sort of framework could we find Tony in? The clues about where we might find him next are in Ultron," the Tony Stark actor said.

As Screen Rant reports, director Joss Whedon has said that Captain America and Iron Man are co-leaders of "Earth's Mightiest Heroes in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron'."

"Captain America: Civil War" is scheduled to hit cinemas on May 6, 2016.
