'Captain America: Civil War' Cast News, Spoilers: Black Widow Appears in Upcoming Franchise Installment
After all of the recent rumors and speculations about the anticipated "Captain America: Civil War" film, directors Anthony and Joe Russo took to an interview with Sina to shed actual facts about Black Widow's appearance.
The director brothers appeared in Beijing for an interview on the movie's developments. They're the same directors that worked on the franchise's last film, 'Captain America: Winter Soldier'. "Civil War" will be the first movie of Marvel's Phase Three. Here's what the Russo's had to say on the movie:
"We've been preparing for the movie since the one debuted last year," Anthony said, "So, we've been working on it for a long time now. We're very happy how it's coming along. Captain America 3 is gonna be called Captain America: Civil War and it's going to star Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson will be back, Winter Soldier will be back, and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man will also be joining us in the next film."
It's starting to look like "Civil War" is gearing up to be an "Avengers 2.5." Practically all the centerpiece characters have been promised to be in it.
As for some other feature characters, will be sing Anthony Mackie return as The Falcon, Chadwick Boseman will be making his debut as the Black Panther, Frank Grillo will star as Crossbones, Daniel Bruhl is in an unconfirmed role, and Jeremy Renner may make his return as Hawkeye.
"Mackie has been doing press lately for his new movie Black or White during which time he's also revealed that Falcon will have a new costume in Cap 3 and that the movie begins a five-month shoot this April and will film in Berlin, Puerto Rico and Atlanta," writes IGN.
As it stands, the movie will set to release next year on May 6, 2016.
