'Captain America: Civil War' 2016 Release Date, Cast: Storyline To Be 'Intense' and 'Pivotal' [TRAILER]

It was confirmed in 2014 that the third movie in Marvel's Captain America series would be called "Captain America: Civil War."

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeeley would be writing the script for the third entry in the series. As reported in Cinema Blend, the pair also wrote the script of the previous two Captain America films.

As reported in the film's official press release, according to Cinema Blend, Captain America would allegedly start off with the narration of the stoppage of threats all over the world. Cinema Blend vividly describes the planned story line for the third movie as follows:

"One stop on this tour [global anti-terrorist mission] leads to an international incident involving a good deal of collateral damage. Mounting political pressure results in a regulation that will force superheroes to register with the government, but while some individuals are on board with this idea, others very much aren't. This leads to a clash of the titans where heroes aren't fighting villains, but instead other heroes.

Meanwhile, as reported in Inquisitr, Captain America and the film's other character, Falcon, would allegedly die in the civil war, just like how it was depicted in the comics version of the film. Chris Evans plays the role of Captain America in the third movie.

Captain America 3 actor, Don Cheadle described his experience filming Captain America 3 as follows:

"I never know what it's going to be and they keep their cards very close to their breast with Marvel. I never know where the character's going to go, but he's become more and more and in the next one, you'll see that what happens to Rhodey is a little bit more intense and pivotal to what happens in the rest of the stories."

"Captain America: Civil War" is set to be released on May 6, 2016. Watch the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer below.
