Although Marvel Entertainment announced 'Captain America: Civil War' quite some time back, there have been hardly any news about the upcoming movie, as the producers seem to be reluctant to reveal any details.

However, Marvel has recently announced the addition of a new cast member - Daniel Bruhl, who starred in 'Inglourious Basterds' and 'Rush', who will portray the villain in the film.

Kevin Feige, Marvel head, recently announced, "With Daniel's ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes."

Bruhl will, however, not be cast as the main antagonist of 'Captain America: Civil War', wherein fans will see Captain America and Iron Man confronting one another. Therefore, it is expected that Iron Man will be the main villain in the upcoming movie. Now it remains to be seen what precise role Bruhl will be playing in the third installment of Captain America.

Explaining the nature of the Civil War fans can expect in 'Captain America: Civil War', Feige said, "It's a big storyline... this is the Civil War of the cinematic universe, inspired by comicbook universe, but the Civil War that's based on all of the other films, particularly ('Captain America: The Winter Soldier') and ('The Avengers: Age of Ultron')."

Meanwhile, JGB News saying that the franchise of 'Captain America' seems to be the "epicenter" of all potential directions vis-à-vis the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to the website, as this movie franchise is the "most promising," any event happening in 'Captain America' will spread to other superhero storylines from Marvel.

As of now, it is certain that Chris Evans will return to reprise his character as Steve Rogers (Captain America), while Robert Downey Jr. will be seen as Tony Stark (Iron Man). In fact, Robert Downey Jr. will have a vital role in 'Captain America: Civil War', which will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.

'Captain America: Civil War' will be released on May 6, 2016.
