'Captain America 3' Casting News: Actor Daniel Bruhl Joins Marvel's ‘Civil War’ Film

The third installment of the hugely popular 'Captain America' movie franchise is said to have several super villains, but the reason for their presence in the upcoming film is quite baffling to the fans. However, if 'Captain America: Civil War' is any proof of the Captain's steadfast ethical values, all fans of the movie are expecting that he will emerge victorious in the end.

Most fans are probably aware of the fact that the story of 'Captain America: Civil War' deals with the Superhero Registration Act, which makes it necessary for all superheroes to register themselves with the government and are compelled to be a part of the police force. Christian Today reports that while Tony Stark (Iron Man) concurs with this act, Steve Rogers is against it.

Such divergence in the views of the two Avengers makes the superheroes to pick up sides. There are rumors that the war in the upcoming movie will put an end to the American Captain. However, it is still not clear as to which particular villain in the movie will actually take the life of Steve Rogers.

In 'Captain America: Civil War,' Stark is the main villain. Nevertheless, the producers have already confirmed that Brock Rumlow will be portraying the character of Crossbones. A number of reports have hinted that Crossbones will be mainly responsible for the Captain's death. On the other hand, a new actor has joined the film's cast and it is believed that the Captain's life is again in danger.

According to recent reports, Daniel Bruhl is said to have joined the cast of 'Captain America: Civil War,' but the character he will be portraying is yet to be confirmed. So far, Marvel has remained mum on the subject. Another report in Movie Casting Call claimed that Bruhl will be portraying the character of Baron Zemo - another enemy of the Captain.

Going by the comics, Baron Zemo is the main adversary of Captain America and Screen Crush says that he is "a Nazi scientist fond of creating death rays that would be used to destroy the world." Baron Zemo is also said to be the accountable for Bucky Barnes the Winter Soldier. Now the question is how Baron Zemo will be adapting to the contemporary period from the 1940s.

'Captain America: Civil War' is scheduled for premiere on May 6, 2016.
