Candace Cameron Bure News: Actress Talks Being Religious in Hollywood

Devout Christian and Hollywood star Candace Cameron Bure once again spoke of her religious beliefs in time for the promotion of her new book 'Dancing Through Life: Steps of Courage and Conviction'.

Sitting down with E! News the brave Christian and 'Fuller House' star once again talked about how it is to be a Christian in the Hollywood setting and while many may think that she would feel to be in a difficult situation, Bure reveals that she isn't.

"It's not [difficult] for me. It's just who I am and I'm just being myself and we all have different viewpoints and different opinions in life. I think that's what makes the world go round," Bure told E! News.

"So I appreciate all those good conversations," she added. Indeed she apparently had a lot of good conversations and most recently at the show 'The View' where Bure had an intense argument with host Raven Symone about the recent news of a lesbian couple refused to be given a cake for their wedding by a bakery in Oregon.

In the show, Symone said, "The Oregon law bars businesses from discriminating against sexual orientation, race, disability, age or religion," adding, "and to me, it's the same exact thing that they did back in the day saying that black people couldn't do certain things because it's my 'religious belief.'"

Meanwhile the outspoken Bure answered saying, "No," she said even holding her hand up adding, "I think you are comparing apples to oranges here. I don't think this is discrimination at all, this is about freedom of association, it's about constitutional rights, it's about First Amendment rights. We do still have the right to choose who we associate with-but they did not refuse to bake cakes."

"It's in the constitution," Bure explained further. "They didn't refuse to bake the cake because of their sexual orientation, they baked a cake for them previously. They had a problem with the actual ceremony because that, the ceremony, is what conflicted with their religious beliefs."
