Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden seem to be fully enjoying the newlywed phase, however they may not be enjoying each other's company alone for much longer.

A source close to Diaz has stated that the 'Bad Teacher' star is happy in her new role as a wife, and that she is eager to expand her family with her husband.

"[Cameron] will take things as they come, but don't be surprised to see her calm down a bit and get in the bet shape for a possible pregnancy," said the source in a statement to PEOPLE magazine.

Diaz is often seen out and about wearing her work out clothes, and is a major advocate for the benefits of maintaining an active lifestyle.

However, the Body Book author's love for sports and fitness may have to take the back burner for a while before she can begin to grow her family.

While Diaz and Madden are still a twosome, they have been seen filling their days together with romantic dinner dates, and flooding each other's timelines with cute messages and photographs on social media.

In fact, the rock star even tattooed his wife's name on his chest in February.

The couple got married in a quiet and intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles on January 5th.

"Getting married is the next step when you are totally in love and comfortable with someone," a source told PEOPLE magazine about the happy couple and their big step at the time. "Cameron has found true happiness."
