She has been out of the news until the recent announcement about the new 'Annie' movie being released. However, Diaz is still one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood these days.

Cameron Diaz is currently dating Benji Madden. There have been rumors circulating that the two are engaged and there is a ring on her finger, but she says that it was a birthday gift and it is nothing serious so far. Cameron just recently celebrated her 42^nd birthday with her friends Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Nicole Richie.

Nicole is taking all of the credit for setting up Benji and Cameron, and on a side note, Nicole just happens to be married to Benji's twin brother.

Lately there has been a lot of talk of celebrities not wanting to start their families. However, Diaz has been very open about not wanting to have children because it is what society expects for women of her age. She has said that she is not looking for a husband, but just wants to enjoy her life and live it.

She will be starring in the new 'Annie' movie and she is incredibly excited about that. She said that she has always been afraid to do a musical, but once she was asked to do it, she said yes immediately.
