'Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare' Remastered News: Game Unveils Enhanced Visuals, Director Talks How The Game Got The Remaster
New details on the features of Infinity Ward's "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" remaster have surfaced. Also, Raven studio director Dave Pellas has explained the reason behind remastering the game.
As a remaster, "Modern Warfare" featured impressive graphics. According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the graphical presentation of the remastered game is at par with the kind of "graphical prowess" it had way back in 2007. What brings the remaster to a higher level includes the upgraded textures, boosted effects, and the HDR lighting. Also, the gameplay runs smoothly, while the frame rate was not confirmed.
According to Tech Radar, the game is bringing the series back to its origins. As per the publication, though the game remaster has a sharper texture and more realistic character and environment details, its focus remains on the "tight" and "twitchy" gunplay that initially made "Call of Duty" players fall in love with it.
In other news, director Pellas explained why "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" got a remaster treatment. In his interview with Wired, he said that they had goteen more requests from fans about having a game remaster, adding that it had just taken a while for their team to realize that it was actually something that they should do.
"When our executive team came to us and proposed [the remaster], I don't think any one didn't jump up immediately and say "yes, we want to be the ones to bring this out!"," Pellas said.
When it comes to the gameplay, Infinity Ward released the game's latest multiplayer mode trailer. It opens with a footage in green hue, which features war and combat between the opposing allies. Its war theme delivers the expected dynamic sequences, such as gunfires and explosions.
Along with the game envirnoment, the succeeding sequences allow players to see the game through the eyes of the players, according to PC Gamer. As per the publication, the game will cover 16 multiplayer maps that were unveiled for the original game.
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" is set to be released with "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" on Nov. 4.
