'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' Remastered Latest News: Access Begins 30 Days Before Complete Launch?
New details on the release date and gameplay of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Remastered have surfaced.
According to Express UK, "Infinite Warfare" pre-order customers can have early access to the "Modern Warfare" program, a month prior to its complete launch. Nonetheless, the said campaign is not available on PC or Xbox One.
As per a PlayStation blog post, as cited by the publication, fans can download "Modern Warfare" Remastered with the use of codes. In a statement, it said that to gain access to the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" remastered Campaign 30 days early, the player must pre-purchase a PlayStation 4 edition of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" that covers "Modern Warfare" Remastered, along with Legacy, Legacy pro, Digital Legacy, and Digital Deluxe Editions.
According to the blog, players who had pre-ordered one of the said game versions at a partcipating retailer would have to complete their full purchase to be sent a PlayStation code by their retailer, which would allow them access to the "Modern Warfare" Remastered campaign.
Players can input the code into their consoles and begin downloading, after the receipt of the code, as per the post. In this regard, players who purchased through the PlayStation Store would be automatically given access and can also start downloading.
The said offer is available until Nov. 3 only. Following that, players have to install the fill version of "Modern Warfare" Remastered, which is covered in their "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Editions. With respect to the gameplay, leaking it may result to getting banned, as per Gear Nuke.
Developed by infinity Ward, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Remastered was initially released for the PlayStation, Xbox, Wii, OS X, and Microsoft Windows in 2007.
