'Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare' Ship Assault: Future Going To Meet The Past?
The gameplay trailer for the ship assault of "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare" was released by Infinity Ward, which sent gaming news sites buzzing.
The trailer that was unveiled during the E3 expo highlighted the space combat where the player may find himself in the Jackal spacecraft; or in aircraft carriers in the military base located in Switzerland, of all places.
However, the latest ship assault gameplay doesn't really provide any news of what "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is all about.
"In fact, the last big revelations about the game's campaign was that Game of Throne 's Kit Harrington will play the bad guy this year," iDigital Times said. "Other than that, all we really know is that humanity is fighting against itself for some reason."
According to the review from Digital Trends, while "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is very much set in the future, it carries the tension as well as the conditions in the Battle of Stalingrad. WW II buffs would readily understand the significance of that statement in relation to both German and Soviet Union history.
Had the Nazis taken over the stronghold, we would have had a very different landscape today.
The ship assault gameplay trailer was set in a very distant future where "the battleground now covers the entire solar system, and the game's conflict isn't between nations, but between the forces of Earth and her colonies in space."
Apart from the ship assault gameplay, there should be plenty of news that will come out of the woodworks in the weeks to come ahead of the release date of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" on Nov. 4 this year.
