'Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare' News: CEO Talks Title Going To Be Great One?

Despite negative feedback from fans and gamers on the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" trailer, the game is set to be one of Activision's great games, according to CEO Eric Hirshberg.

In his interview with Mashable, Hirshberg said that they were doing the same thing after the response as before, which was focusing on making a great game. He also mentioned that at the end of the day, when they did that they tended to make fans happy and win people over and continue to have the franchise flourish.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is set to transition from a war premise to a space story arc, as per the publication. The game is set to be in the first-person point-of-view and it involves space combats, along with zero-G gunning. While this could be the studio's attempt to shift the gear and expand the game to a cosmic setting, it looks like the plan does not appeal to fans.

n the same interview, Hirshberg said that their previosu most-disliked trailer had been the reveal trailer for "Black Ops 2." He also said that that had been the first time they had brought the franchise into that future, adding that that had turned out to be one of their most successful games ever.

Released on May 2, Activision's "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" trailer received several dislikes from fans and gamers. At present, the trailer has more than dislikes and only more than 400,000 likes.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is set to be released for the PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One on Nov. 4. Watch the reveal trailer here
