Just 24 hours to go before the release date of DLC 2 of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be announced, as Activision also shared the news about the availability of the Awakening Map Pack that can be downloaded on PlayStation 3 starting April 5.

The game's Twitter post on Mar. 29 revealed, "Ready for your first look at #BlackOps3 DLC 2? @Treyarch has you covered on Thursday."

The "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC 2 release date on Mar. 31 during a live stream during the BO3 Event Viewer at 11 a.m. Pacific and 2 p.m. Eastern.

"After the Awakening Black Ops 3 DLC 1 arrived in February and March we know more about how Treyarch and Activision will handle releases like this for the upcoming DLC map packs," Gotta Be Mobile said. "The Black Ops 3 DLC 2 release date is likely set for April on PS4 and May on Xbox One and PC."

Activision also revealed the new maps of the Awakening DLC for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," along with their descriptions, below:

Skyjacked: High above urban Zurich, the new core movement system featured in Black Ops 3, this map gives players new ways to explore the environment, while still retaining the same fast and frenetic gameplay players love.

Splash: Dive into battle in this abandoned water park, featuring a vibrant and colorful environment, including waterslides, a wrecked pirate ship and a lazy river.

 Gauntlet: Delivering three unique environments within one action-packed map, Gauntlet showcases Treyarch's classic three-lane map structure, transporting players into battle through a sprawling jungle, sub-zero arctic zone and rainy urban cityscape.

Rise: Rise is set in the snowy outskirts of Zurich in the middle of an ongoing construction site for a massive subterranean Coalescence research campus. With multiple engagement areas throughout this larger map, each section caters to different styles of gameplay.

This new "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" DLC can be purchased for an SRP of $14.99 on Playstation 3. Those who purchase Awakening will also receive the static theme, Activision said.
