'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' New DLC News: 'Havoc' Trailer Released - Showcasing 'Exo Zombies'

Activision and Sledgehammer Games have succeeded in raising anticipation for the "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" DLC, "Havoc." This will be the first piece of downloadable content for the game.

They've released a trailer showing players what they can expect, along with promising appearances from John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, and Jon Berenthal as playable characters.

The gaming company released this synopsis on the DLC:

"In Exo Zombies, four untrained and unprepared Atlas employees must survive a horror unlike any other as, in a bit of a twist, the zombies are also equipped with same exoskeleton suits players wear. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Exo Zombies stars John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal."

Activision decided to put a little twist on their zombie-survival mode for this game. Classically "Call of Duty" fans have been accustomed to the game's "Nazi Zombies" mode, but the "Exo Zombie" feature should bring a whole new challenging element. Players have never had to fight off zombies with superhuman capabilities.

"Havoc" players will also have the pleasure of exploring new maps, experiencing new weapons, and of course, the new breed of zombies.

"The first downloadable content pack for Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare, featuring the all-new Exo Zombies co-op experience, the all-new versatile AE4 directed energy assault rifle, the AE4 Widowmaker custom variant, and four new Multiplayer maps, tailor-made to unleash your exoskeleton's power," writes the game's website.

The "Havoc" DLC will be released on January 27th on XBOX Live, and other platforms at a later date.

The DLC will be available for purchase separate or as a part of the "Advanced Warfare" season pass.
