'Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare' Remaster: ‘Infinity Warfare’ Gets Best Bonus Content Ever With Remake?
New details on Activision's "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" Remaster have surfaced. Also, the most recent title in the series, "Infinite Warfare," might have more sub-series.
"Modern Warfare" is based on real-life conflicts centering on Task Force 141, which is a special forces unit spearheaded by Captain Soap MacTavish, plus the United States Army Rangers. The team aim to hunt down Russian Ultranationalist party leader Vladimir Makarov.
Along with the aforementioned quest, the title is also sees James Ramirez and Gary "Roach" Sanderson as playable characters, as per Twinfinite. Captain MacTavish is set to be playable in the latter part of the game plot. Aside from its multiplayer mode and new maps, the title is also set to feature enhanced visuals and physics principles.
In other news, "Infinity Ward" might have some sub-series, according to narrative designer Taylor Kurosaki. In an interview with Polygon, he said that what they were developing could certainly support multiple games and they were trying to develop a very rich realm that they were not close to exhausting.
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" is a first-person shooter video game. Set in 2011, the title follows the beginning of a civil war in Russia, following the execution of a Middle Eastern country's president. The story conflict is viewed from the point-of-view of a United States Force Reconnaissance Marine, plus a British SAS commando.
Activision's "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" was initially released for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo DS, OS X, Wii, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 in Nov. 2007. Exact details on the upcoming remaster are yet to be revealed.
