Bruce Jenner Sex Change Latest: Olympic Gold Medalist to Sit Down with Diane Sawyer
New reports are claiming that Bruce Jenner will allegedly be sitting down with Diane Sawyer to discuss the process of his transition from male to female, CBS News reports.
Citing multiple sources, the report says that the 65-year-old Olympic Gold Medalist has chosen the seasoned ABC News personality to conduct the interview, which will air ahead of a docuseries chronicling Jenner's transformation.
"Diane has always been supportive of the LGBT community. She has been honored by GLAAD," a source close to Sawyer told Us Weekly.
Page Six reports that the sit-down will air in May, while an ABC source said that parts of the interview would commence filming within the week.
The interview precedes Jenner's own unscripted E! series documenting the motivational speaker's gender transition, which is currently in the process of filming.
"The world will see his full transformation. It's a docuseries featuring the Jenner family talking about Bruce "coming out'," a source told Us.
Along with the interview and the documentary, Jenner will also be tackling his journey in the upcoming season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
Earlier, the decathlon Olympic champion's stepdaughter Kim Kardashian told "Entertainment Tonight" that Jenner is now "the happiest I've seen him."
"I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he'll share whenever the time is right. I feel like that's his journey to talk about," the bombshell celebrity added.
A source told Us that the former track and field star is fully supported by his 10 children and stepchildren, which includes Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie, Brody, and Brandon.
"They have all become protective of him and just want him to live the way he wants," the source added.
Recently, Jenner has been spotted in public sporting longer hair, fuller lips, painted nails, and diamond earrings, as reported by Us.
