The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department plans to review the phone records of Bruce Jenner following a fatal car crash on Saturday.

Authorities plan to review the records to discover whether either driver could have been texting during the accident. According to reports, Bruce Jenner is signing over access to his cellphone record to prove texting was not the cause of the car crash.

An alleged photo taken at the time of the crash shows Jenner holding a cigarette not a cellphone while driving. The photo has lead to speculation that distracted driving contributed to the collision.

Many photos from the incident were taken by paparazzi who have been following Jenner in recent weeks regarding his upcoming reality series featuring the rumored story of his alleged gender transition.

Details of the crash mention a woman driving a Toyota Prius who abruptly stops and a woman in a Lexus rear-ending the Prius.

Jenner traveling in a black Cadillac Escalade rear-ended the woman in the Lexus. Attached to his SUV Jenner had a trailer loaded with an off-road vehicle.

The impact from Jenner's car and trailer sent the Lexus into oncoming traffic and a Hummer then struck the Lexus causing the death of the driver and severe damage to her vehicle.

Jenner was given both a field sobriety test and a blood test, but results have not been released to the public.

Since the accident, Bruce Jenner has released a public statement to the family of the Lexus driver.

Jenner said, "My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident. It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible."

Police have not formally identified the victim, but she is believed to be a neighbor of the Kardashians. Neighbors report that she lived in the same Calabasas neighborhood as Kourtney, Robert, and Khloe Kardashian.
