Review of Bridgecity's Bridgecity
Christian contemporary band, Bridgecity, released their debut self-titled full length album. The band created this album to bring the presence of God into people's lives and create a thirst for Christ through worship. This album is potentially life changing not only for the band but for their listeners. Bridgecity annually hosts thousands of teens each year for their worship and lifestyle conference which will be the first time this album is performed live.
Starting off the album strong, 'Power' kicks off the album with a bang. It has a catchy chorus, rocking guitar riffs and powerful vocals that will pull in the listener. 'Power' has the mainstream music sound with a message making this the most memorable song of the album.
Inspired by the words of the 23 Psalms, 'Be Still and Know' shifts to the softer side of the music spectrum. The sweeping piano and gentle soprano vocals readies the heart for praise and worship. The chorus line "Be still and know God is with us" is a peaceful reminder that no matter what you're going , God will be there to get you through.

Bridgecity is an amazing debut album. The songs overall have a wonderful "organic" sound to them. Musically from the guitars to the drums, synthesizing and keys, Bridgecity manages to bring forth a different pace of worship songs all throughout the album. The tracks can go from vibrant and uplifting to calm and emotional and that's what makes this album shine. The diverse vocals give each song its signature heartfelt passion while providing an intimate connection with God and the listeners. Bridgecity will surely bring listeners closer to God with this album.
