Brangelina New Child News, Rumors: Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Looking to Adopt Syrian Orphan?
If the latest reports about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are true, then the couple is planning to adopt a seventh, perhaps an eighth baby too. The couple who are now parents to six children - Maddox (13), Pax (11), Zahara (10), Shiloh (8), Knox and Vivienne (both 6), now want to adopt a Syrian orphan.
According to IB Times, though neither Angelina Jolie, not Brad Pitt has made any official announcement in this regard, rumors are rife that they are planning to adopt another child - this time a Syrian orphan. In fact, a simple search on Twitter of Jolie's name will show up "Syrian orphan!"
Quoting The Sun, the report further says that 38-year-old Jolie and 49-year-old Pitt not only want to adopt another child, but also have another biological baby together.
The London Evening Standard quoted a source saying, "Angie and Brad's attitude toward kids is the more the better - and that once you have several a few more makes no difference." The source added, "The publicity would help draw the world's attention to what's going on there. The twins are now 4 and Angie and Brad have agreed it's time for more kids. They're crossing their fingers that they'll bring their next child home soon."
It is worth mentioning here that the celebrated Hollywood couple, who tied the knot in France last August, already has three biological children together - Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. They adopted their other children from other countries. While Maddox was born in Cambodia, Zahara is from Ethiopia and Pax is from Vietnam.
An actress of repute and the director of 'Unbroken,' Jolie recently visited Iraq and discussed her travels to that country in an op-ed published in the New York Times. The op-ed read, "I have visited Iraq five times since 2007, and I have seen nothing like the suffering I'm witnessing now." She further wrote, "For many years I have visited camps, and every time, I sit in a tent and hear stories," she explained. "I try my best to give support. To say something that will show solidarity and give some kind of thoughtful guidance. On this trip I was speechless."
