'Boruto: Naruto The Movie' News: Upcoming Film’s Japan Screening on Aug. 7, International Release Soon
As 'The Last: Naruto the Movie' was the concluding chapter in Konoha's Uzumaki Naruto's life, it led the fans to speculate if the creator Masashi Kishimoto would end the manga or come out with an entire new series that would either be parallel or rival the tremendous success of the 'Naruto' franchise.
According to Christian Today, fans were, in fact, surprised when Masashi Kishimoto did not end the manga on its 700th chapter, but kept continuing Naruto's story as well as the ninja world on the whole. The continuing serialization of 'Naruto Gaiden' tells the story of Naruto as he carries out his work as the seventh Hokage, alongside the mature versions of the Konoha ninjas, whom fans have seen in preceding chapters.
In addition, there are new characters as the ninjas' offspring, especially Boruto, Naruto and Hinata's child, as well as Sarada, Sasuke and Sakura's daughter.
With the continuation of the manga serialization manga, the movie tie-in also continues. The producers have already confirmed the next installment in the film series, titled 'Boruto: Naruto the Movie,' and it will be screened in Japan on Aug. 7. The upcoming film is the collaboration between Kishimoto and Ukyo Kodachi. The upcoming film will be directed by Hiroyuki Yamashita, who also directed the 'Naruto Shippuden' anime series.
There is some good news for the multitudes of 'Naruto' fans worldwide, as the film may get an international release after its screening in Japan. It is expected that the movie will be released in North America this fall. It will also be released in other countries in late 2015. However, it is still not clear if the international version of the film will come with a subtitle, or if the producers will come out with an English-dubbed movie.
The story of the upcoming film will follow Boruto while he tries to follow as well as outdo his father, the seventh Hokage. According to spoilers, Sasuke will be Boruto's master.
