‘Bones' Season 11 Spoilers, Premiere News: Hodgins’ Paralysis Affects Relationship With Angela?
After a heart-crushing midseason finale, the 11th season of Bones is currently on a winter break. The series will be continued by the midseason premiere episode entitled "The Death in the Defense"
According to Yibada, Dr. Jack Hodgins will be paralyzed for the rest of his life after being injured during the previous episode. Showrunner John Collier said in an interview with TV Line that the twist will affect the relationship of Hodgins and Angela as a couple.
"This is about Hodgins and Angela as a couple. We really want to test their relationship, and we figured this would be a good way to do it," Collier said.
Collier also said that the audience would be able to see how strong Hodgins and Angela's relationship will be; through the good times and the bad.
"It's going to get really difficult for them. We believe in them as a couple, but we really want to push them. There's a good chance he will never walk again," he continued.
He was also asked if there is still a possibility for Hodgins to still be able to walk in the far future.
"It's in the cards, but it's going to be tough going," he added.
The next episode is written by Kendall Sand. There is no official date yet on when the season will return. So fans are just going to have to stick around for more updates about the midseason premiere.
The show will most likely maintain its time slot during Thursdays at 8:00 pm ET.
