Fans should prepare to see one of the most emotional episodes of "Bones" season 11 in its upcoming episode, titled "The Last Shot at a Second Chance."

It is not new to viewers that Hodgins and Angela have been on the rocks since several weeks ago, when Hodgins' recovery took a turn so tough he almost pushed his wife away.

In episode 14, Hodgins and Angela will continue to go through a hard time. The episode will also follow the investigation of a mysterious murder case involving Booth's friend.

"The Jeffersonian investigates the murder of a convicted felon who had been released to a halfway house, but disappeared, and a suspect in the case has ties to Booth. Meanwhile, Brennan testifies at an FBI hearing about the circumstances regarding her assault of an unarmed suspect from a previous case, and the outcome of the hearing could lead to her suspension and prevent her from working with the FBI. Aubrey and Jessica's first kiss is delayed again and Hodgins continues to push Angela away," the official synopsis on Catermatt reads.

The promo trailer for the episode shows that the team will track down a murderer who is a drug dealer, and this will put Booth's loyalty to test. The team will question his focus on the case, knowing that the suspect is his friend. Towards the end of the clip, Booth is informed that he will not be working with the Bureau anymore.
