'Bones' Season 11 Episode 11 Recap, Spoilers: Doctor Tells Hodgins No Chance For Him To Walk Again?
"Bones" season 11 returned with its 11th episode on Fox, titled "The Death in the Defense."
The recent episode followed Jack Hodgins as he tried to continue life with half of his body paralyzed. This came as a result of an explosion in the previous episode, which left him disabled from the waist down.
Episode 11 opened with Booth and Brennan delving into a crime involving a public defender who was hit to death with a wine glass, and Hodgins doing his best to get back to work with positivity. He believed that his disability was only temporary and that, some day, he will be able to walk again. While he was in a good place in the beginning of the episode, things started to change as his return to work divided the Jeffersonian into two factions--those who supported his return and those who didn't.
Meanwhile, Booth and Brennan discovered that the culprit behind the murder of the defender was actually her friendly boss, whom she dumped when he confessed his love to her. Fortunately, the murderer was arrested and immediately cuffed.
The episode ended on a sad note when the doctor of Hodgins told him that there was no chance for him to be able to walk again. Devastated by the news, Hodgins lied to Angela and told him that the doctor's report came out positive.
"Bones" executive producer Michael Peterson revealed in an interview that upon hearing about his condition, the paraplegic Hodgins will "descend into darkness" and will grow insecure about his relationship with his wife Angela.
"Bones" season 11 airs every Thursday, 8:00 P.M. on Fox.
