'Bond 24' Title 'Spectre', Cast News: Features Christopher Waltz, Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista & More

The 24th James Bond film will be called 'Spectre' and the newest cast members will include Christopher Waltz, Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci and Léa Seydoux Sony and MGM announced during a press conference.

The announcement was made by director Sam Mendes at the 007 Pinewood Studios stage. He said that the film will be shot in the Austrian Alps, Mexico City, Rome, London, Erfoud, and Tangier.

Daniel Craig will be reprising his role as James Bond, along actors Ben Whishaw as Q, Rory Kinnear as Tanner and Naomie Harris as Miss Moneypenny. 

Ralph Fiennes is also included in the movie and will play the role of M, while Seydoux from 'Blue Is the Warmest Color' will play Madeleine Swann. Waltz is also in 'Spectre' and will play Oberhauser, while Bellucci will give life to the character of Lucia Sciarra.

Bautista from 'Guardians of the Galaxy' will be playing Mr. Hinx as Denbigh is played by 'Sherlock' actor Andrew Scott.

Mendes, along with 'Interstellar' cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema will be directing the film, while Lee Smith will be its editor.

"A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE," reads the movie logline.

Fans of Bond may be familiar with the title of the film, as it is the acronym for a global crime organization "Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion," which was led by Ernst Stavro Blofeld in the Bond novels, who has previously appeared in other films in the Bond series, including 'From Russia With Love', 'Diamonds Are Forever', 'Thunderball', 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service', 'You Only Live Twice' and 'For Your Eyes Only'.
