Bobby Brown News: Singer Gets Emotional During First Performance Since Bobbi Kristina Brown's Ordeal
Music icon Bobby Brown finally performed again at the recent 2015 Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles where he sang a few of his hit songs. Brown, who is also the father of Bobbi Kristina Brown with the late Whitney Houston, who has been on life support after being found in a bathtub face down in water.
Although still on life support and transferred to a rehabilitation center, Brown shared on stage during his performance about the tough experience and thanked everyone for the support since Bobbi Kristina is still under the threat of losing her life.
"I must tell ya'll, this feels, this feels, this feels really, really, really really good," Brown reportedly said on stage at the festival, "I wanna thank all of y'all for coming out tonight, you know, and supporting me and my family."
Brown also shared that he is just letting God handle everything that is happening. "You know, rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times," he said, "I don't know what the hell I'm going through right now, but I'm giving it to God and letting him deal with it."
The singer apparently only stayed at the event to perform and just hours after the event, Brown was on his way home to Atlanta again to be with Bobbi Kristina along with other family members. Bobbi Kristina's hospitalization had been under the media's eye lately and Brown even had to release a statement previously asking for a little privacy.
"Privacy is requested in this matter," Brown said in a statement to E! News. "Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."
Meanwhile, the family's lawyer also closed all opportunities for any more details to be released about Bobbi Kristina's hospitalization. "The report that Bobbi Kristina Brown has been taken to the hospital in Atlanta, Georgia is accurate," Brown's lawyer said, "No additional information will be forthcoming."
