It was a sad Sunday for Bobbi Kristina Brown's family and friends as the 22-year-old daughter of Bobbi Brown and the late Whitney Houston finally passed after months of being in the hospital after her January 31 incident at her home where she was found faced down on a tub filled with water.

It was indeed a challenging and hard year for the struggling musician and daughter of two renowned personalities in the music industry as Bobbi Kristina had to experience a slow and difficult life inside the hospital. As she was rushed to the hospital on the day of the incident, Bobbi Kristina since then was going back and forth in being unconscious to showing a few promising signs of getting better and then finally going towards a permanent brain damage.

Both the young Bobbi Kristina and her family and friends suffered for quite a while and now that news came out that she finally passed, one specific friend of hers just recently spoke up about the life of Bobbi Kristina a year before she passed.

Alex Reid was one of Bobbi Kristina's closest friends who recently just spoke up about Bobbi Kristina's condition when her mother Houston died until just before she herself died. But what was striking out of all the tales that Reid confessed was Bobbi Kristina's life with her live-in partner, Nick Gordon.

As the investigation continues to move for the death of Bobbi Kristina, Reid then speaks of Gordon's maltreatment towards the late young Bobbi Kristina. "She was sobbing. Nick had hit her and she was scared," Reid said recalling the conversation with Bobbi Kristina in an exclusive interview with E! News. "She was very upset. She didn't know what to do. It was as if, she didn't have anyone else to turn to. It was heartbreaking."

"I love her. I would never have betrayed her and spoken out before now," said Reid. I feel like I have to be a voice for her now." Then Reid added, "There are things that I know that no one else does. And I hope that by speaking out I can help the investigation in some way."
