Bobbi Kristina Brown Health Condition Latest News Update: Official Statements about Bobbi's Condition

Bobby Brown has officially filed for guardianship of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown's estate, including the $20 Million inheritance from her late mother Whitney Houston, according to NBC affiliate 11Alive.

This is the same house where Bobbi Kristina was found lying conscious in a bathtub. Brown was allegedly suffering from a drug overdose, and reportedly it was not a suicide attempt, according to Entertainment Tonight. Brown is now on a ventilator and in intensive care, after the doctors placed her in a medically induced coma for almost three months.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Brown's lawyer Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC said, "Bobbi Kristina's condition has changed since moving from Emory University Hospital and there has been improvement. Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life. However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come."

Her grandmother, Cissy Houston is in-charge of Bobbi Kristina's $20 million trust, apart from her aunt and uncle Pat Houston and Gary Houston.

Cissy Houston issued a public statement on Bobbi Kristina's health, last week saying, "I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma, she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive."

She also said, "Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me. We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time. Keep us in your prayers."

Her statement suggests that Bobby is still in a vegetative state and there is no hope of recovery any time soon.
