Bobbi Kristina Brown Condition Update: Grandmother Cissy Houston Says 'She's Not Progressing At All'
A new update regarding Bobbi Kristina Brown's health was revealed by Bobbi Kristina's grandmother herself, the mother of the late Whitney Houston, Cissy Houston. Although it may seem positive, Cissy however revealed that there is no progress at all.
When Bobbi Kristina was found face down on her tub filled with water at her home three months ago, she was brought to the hospital where she had to be in a medically induced coma. After a while, Bobbi Kristina was transferred to a medical center where she is currently at still battling for her life.
The news wasn't new at all as Cissy announced in a statement recently. "She's the same, she's not progressing at all," 81-year-old Cissy told Entertainment Tonight just last Saturday. "She's not gone yet, but you know, whatever the Lord decides, I'm ready for her...I have nothing to do with that. That's His job. It's His territory, you know? And I understand it."
Up until now, Bobbi Kristina's fate is still unknown and Cissy and her family are just continuously being there for the young daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney even though until now, there are still no signs of improvement despite the previous claims of Bobby that her daughter was awake.
In a concert that Bobby performed in, he recently announced that Bobbi Kristina was finally awake which the fans applauded on but later on, Bobby's wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown calmed down the people stating that Bobby was "in an emotional state" when he announced the news which at first seemed to be an improvement to Bobbi Kristina's condition.
What is clear is that Bobbi Kristina's current condition is that she has a "global and irreversible brain damage" which sounds just like it is permanent and that her current condition might be longer than what many have been hoping for.
So far, what is best to do is to pray, according to Bobbi Kristina's grandmother, Cissy. "We go to the hospital every day and pray," Cissy continued. "And, you know, I talk to [Bobbi Kristina] because she can still hear, and I rub her hand and whatnot."
