'Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night' Kickstarter Project Update: New Game Slated to Be Released on PS Vita

Since Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was announced a few weeks ago, the project has become stronger and stronger. Now that it has grossed around 3 million dollars, the revival, by Koji Igarashi has been confirmed for PlayStation 4 officially.

Besides that, it will be bringing game players many bonuses, which will include new modes, characters and bosses, thanks to stretch goals.

Those who have not yet donated to the project, however, should still consider it.

Even with all of these advancements, another 500,000 dollars in funding will allow for the release to be sent to Armature Studio in order to be formatted for the PlayStation Vita.

This is a conversion that many gamers would support, keeping in mind how well Guacamelee did on the PlayStation Vita.

A spokesperson from Armature Studio's team discussed their hope to get Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night into the hands of gamers.

"Our team knows the Vita platform inside and out, and we'll do it justice as we bring you Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, running on Unreal Engine 4, to the Vita," said the representative of the studio. "Help us bring Bloodstained where -vania games belong -- your hands!"

Sponsors who pledge twenty eight dollars or more will be treated to a copy of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, which has been compared to Castlevania by many users and critics of the game, on the system of their choice.

The game focuses on a girl named Miriam, who is an orphan that must fight against a curse which turns her skin into crystal slowly, as she battles her way through a demon filled castle.
