'Bloodline' Season 3 News, Spoilers: Danny Haunts The Rayburns; John Will Embrace Being A Good Guy?
The Rayburns are set to be haunted by Danny in "Bloodline" season 3. Also, the upcoming season will see John Rayburn as a more defined character.
"Bloodline" creator Glenn Kessler teased what fans can expect from the show's upcoming season 3 and it is revealed that the Rayburns are going to be attached to Danny's haunting.
In his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Kessler said that it felt like the DNA of the show was really informed by Danny's influence on his family and that would always be there, either in death or being haunted by his memory. The show creator added that at the center of the tragedy was the effect of the black-sheep brother on the family.
According to Kessler, they never wanted to get too far from the murder and they never wanted to get too far from the influence he had had on the Rayburns. For the showrunner, the immediacy and proximity of such horrible deed that the siblings had made would never be about getting far away from it, so they were still under the cap of such pressures they were living under.
In other news, John is set to be a more defined character in season 3, a transition from his more complex characterization in "Bloodline" season 2, as per A.V. Club. According to the report, the character had become defined by his golden boy identity that he would whatever it takes to preserve such image.
It is further revealed that John believes such goodness; however, preserving a good image is just brought about by a pathological need to remain as one. More details on his role and impact to the other Rayburns are yet to be revealed.
Exact details on the release date of "Bloodline" season 3 are yet to be revealed.
