'Bloodline' Season 3 News, Release Date: Next Season Is Still Set In Florida Keys
Netflix management has recently denied rumors that "Bloodline" season 3 will no longer be set in Florida Keys.
There have been reports that the on-set location for the family drama series will be altered since the tax incentives program in Florida has already expired. However, Netflix content chief Ted Sarandos confirmed during the Television Critics Association press tour that the upcoming season will still remain in Florida Keys.
According to Sarandos, the series does not want to lose the iconic location of Sunshine State as it has already played an important role in the development of the story. He also said that for them, Florida Keys is not just an on-set location but a character in itself.
Sarandos added that while they found the incentive program nice, they felt that changing the setting of the series will greatly affect the story.
Some reports say that the cast and production crew of "Bloodline" even sought the help of some business owners and lawmakers in Florida Keys so they could renew the incentive program, since a renewal of the program means they can continue filming there. They also emphasized that the series has played a big role in increasing the revenues of the state.
Now that the filming location for the upcoming series has already been confirmed, fans can expect more updates from the show creators as to what is in store for the members of the Rayburn family in season 3.
"Bloodline" season 3 will include 10 episodes and will start airing sometime in 2017.
