'Bloodline' Season 2 Spoilers, News: Second Season Introduces New Characters; Premieres on Memorial Day Weekend

"Bloodline" season 2 is nothing less gripping and remarkable as its first season, and it is still going to be full of twists and turns.

Netflix confirmed recently that the next installation of the drama is set to debut on Memorial Day Weekend, May 27. That premiere date is expected to be an advantage for its fans and for the series as well, as Carter Matt confirmed that there won't be a lot of other shows to contend with on the day of its debut. That only means that the series has the potential to be the most appealing option for viewers who have nothing better to watch on its timeslot.

According to Ecunemical News, "Bloodline" season 2 centers on the drama that is besetting the Rayburn family. It is also expected to include new characters who have connections with Danny, the oldest Rayburn brother.

One of the new characters, Ozzy Delvecchio, will be played by John Leguizamo. While no specific detail has been released about his role yet, some speculate that his character will be a thorn in the side of the Rayburn family as the story progresses.

In a recent interview, actor Leguizamo shared how he collaborated with the creators of the series to determine the nature of Delvecchio in season 2.

"They're constantly customizing the part to what's happening between the actor, the role and the episode. I've never seen it. I get my scripts sometimes minutes before I'm about to shoot because they want it to be so organic," he said.

Actress Andrew Riseborough will also join the cast as Evangeline, who also has close ties with Danny and has an unfinished business with the family.

"Bloodline" season 2 is set to premiere on May 27 and will include just 10 episodes.
