'Bloodline' Season 2 Premiere News, Spoilers: Arriving May 27 On Netflix; Danny’s Past Is Uncovered
More details on Danny's past are set to be uncovered in "Bloodlines" season 2. Also, rumors suggested that the second season might be the last, as season 3 is reportedly not happening.
According to Ecumenical News, Danny the blacksheep is going home to celebrate the 45th anniversary of his parents. However, it seems that things are not meant to have a smooth flow, as Danny's return leads to conflicts that lead him to divulge his family's ominous past.
"Bloodline" season 1 ended with Danny being killed and season 2 follows the Rayburn family and their peaceful way of live in the Florida Keys. With Danny coming home, more of his secrets and how they impact the family as a whole are yet to be revealed in the series' second season.
In other news, "Bloodline" season 3 is reportedly cancelled, as indicated in Keys Net. According to the publication, a $300 million state program that was made in 2010 enabled tax credits to productions that was done in Florida; however, the program is set to expire in July and the tax credit pool has already dried up.
"This was devastating news," said Film Florida entertainment production executive board member and Orlando media professional John Lux in his interview with the publication. Lux also said that there was no doubt that future "Bloodline" seasons were in jeopardy, as HBO's "Ballers" and other Florida-set series and films were experiencing the same situation.
The executive board member added that the Legislature's ultimate decision to officially abandon their film, television, and digital media professionals had their entire industry and supporters maddened.
"Bloodline" season 2 is set to premiere on May 27 on Netflix.
