'Bloodborne' 1.03 Update News: Patch Notes Detail Bug Fixes & Shorter Load Times
Sony recently announced that their popular game Bloodborne sold more than 1 million copies in less than two weeks.
Shortly after this, they confirmed rumors that the game's update, 1.03, is going to be released across the globe later this month, and feature some necessary fixes.
For one, the update will attempt to cut down on the time that it takes certain parts of the game to load, and will also include many other performance improvements.
The issue with the load times has been something that Sony had promised to fix since the launch of the game. Players are often forced to wait over 45 seconds in order to respawn.
The update will also fix a problem that causes the game to run abnormally after several consecutive hours of game play. People discovered that after playing the game for more than 12 hours in a row, the difficulty of the game changed to make it much easier to play.
Sony also made an announcement stating when the Bloodborne game servers will be down for maintenance. Sony tells players that the online play feature will have to be disabled briefly in order to allow for updates of the servers.
The company says that they have determined that starting maintenance at 1 am Pacific Time or 9am Greenwich Mean Time on weeknights other than Friday will interfere with the smallest amount of players.
Thus, game players will need to keep an eye out, as all future server issues will be handled during these hours, though the systems will be down for only two or so hours at a time.
For those players who are not able to access online features, Sony suggests checking your NAT type and making sure that the proper ports are open on your network.
