'Blindspot' Season 2 Spoilers: Oscar, Jane, And Weller Caught In Love Triangle

The final episode of Season 1 may have pointed out the killer of David (Joe Dinicol), the boyfriend of FBI Forensic Science Unit Head Patterson (Ashley Johnson). But the same episode opened more mind-boggling mysteries to keep fans paranoid until 'Blindspot' Season 2 opens.

Most of these mysteries are personal for Jane -- and according to the show's creator -- will affect her relationship with her team and her love life.

Going back to the last episode, Jane (Jaimie Alexander) ditches her FBI handlers and finds her way to the apartment of Special Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton). The two shared a quick kiss which was interrupted by Weller's nephew.

But since, 'Blindspot' was never intended to dwell on love, Jane was kidnapped by Carter and his men before she could go back to her safe house. Brought in an isolated warehouse, Jane was waterboarded for information about her past. While she was being tortured, Jane suddenly recalls knowing Carter in the past and overhearing him discussing Operation Orion.

While Jane was trying to recall what Operation Orion was all about, Oscar (Francois Arnaud), a  character who previously appeared in flashbacks, showed up to kill Carter, reports IMDb.

Oscar showed Jane a video of her past self, telling her, "If you're watching this, the mission is going as planned."

Moreover, it was revealed that Jane herself decided to wipe her own memory and ink her body with several images, including Weller's name.

Moving forward, according to series creator Martin Gero on TVLine, the new revelations are expected to complicate Jane's budding romance with Weller and her relationship with the team -- and the interactions will be momentous and fun to watch.

Going further, a love triangle among Jane, Oscar, and Weller, is expected to bring a lighter side to the more intense second season.

Meanwhile, Carter's death has lost the viewers a major villain, but this also opens the door to new twists and possibilities. However, to answer some questions, Carter may appear in brief flashbacks during 'Blindspot' Season 2.

Meanwhile, fans would agree that Patterson will be devastated but Gero assured that the workaholic agent will manage to suppress her emotions and stay with the team.
